Action Figure

An action figure is similar to a [[doll]] but differs in several respects:Action figures are almost always plastic.Action figures usually do not have replaceable clothing. They they may have cloth capes or robes, the emphasis us usually not on dressing them.Action figures are generally marketed to boys and often represent military people, superheros, firefighters or other men (and occasionally women) of action.Action figures are designed for re-enactment play by children.Unlike a [[figurine]], and like a doll, action figures are generally poseable with at least three points of articulation: head and both arms.

BJD

A BJD is a Ball-Jointed Doll. Ball joints were popular for antiques, but the term BJD is generally reserved for modern dolls, primarily Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls, or ABJDs.

Doll

For the purposes of Dollation, a doll is a plaything in the form of a human that is poseable in some way and that has clothing that can be removed.

Reborn

A doll (usually made of Vinyl or silicone and a cloth body) that is painted to look like a real baby. The doll either will have painted, rooted, or No hair, and is easily posed.
